Orpheus Stadium

Project

CINTER designed and executed the metal structure of the Orfeo Superdomo, with a reticulated roof that saves 100 meters of light without intermediate supports, and metal enclosures with its own system. The covered building covers 9,000 m², making it possible to build a large scale venue, ideal for shows, sports and mass events. The Orfeo Superdome was inaugurated in 2002, and for years it was consolidated as one of the most emblematic closed stadiums in the interior of the country, with capacity for up to 14,000 people depending on the event. Its functionality — sports court, grandstands, stage for concerts and congresses — demonstrated the flexibility and level of structural demand of the project.
